Design Engineer

Position Summary: Provide design assistance for moderately complex engineering assignments including products, parts, components, or portions of major projects. Has ability to make engineering drawings, and read and interpret blueprints. The technical skills include the ability to make sketches and engineering drawings and have experience using computer applications related to the engineering field. Scope will also include product engineering responsibilities aligned to the Product Engineer. Responsibilities for this position will include the following: Sketch outline designs and use computer-aided design for detailed design, generating parts lists and specifications. Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas. Consult with the marketing department about upgrading the product, failures in service and reducing the cost. Consult with the development engineers about new products and the application of novel technology. Consider various factors of engineering drawings or diagrams, including use of the product, its environment, materials, the economics of production, safety, legal requirements, quality, production requirements, cost and ease of maintenance Investigating product problems, VPI & executing technical processes such as ESW, iDFMEA, FIRG, design review checklist. Position Requirements: Bachelor degree in engineering is required to be considered for this position. Manger shared that he is able to consider new college graduates for this opening. New grads with either a position related internship or co-op under their belts are preferred. Minimum of 2-4 years applicable experience is preferred Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability Team player and detail oriented Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
