Quality Technician

We are looking for Quality Technician for our client in Stoughton, WI Job Title: Quality Technician Job Location: Stoughton, WI Job Type: Contract 12 Months "US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor H1b candidates at this time." Job Description: The manager is looking for candidates with a strong technical background. This position requires the testing of products like calibration and cleaning of products. Candidates with data analysis and data entryexperience are welcome as well as knowledge with statistics. Familiar with automotive engines specifically Diesel engines are a major plus! Summary: Inspect and test processed, machined, fabricated or assembled parts or products for defect, wear, and deviations from specifications. Typically has a high school diploma. The technical skills include the knowledge of machines and tools.  Education/Experience: Minimum of Associates degree or equivalent experience/training required  2-4 years experiencerequired  Responsibility level: Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor Skills: Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability (Required)  Team player and detail oriented (Required)  Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods (Typically required)  Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance (Required) Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:  Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.  Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required.  Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications.  Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded.  Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.  Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.  Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to determine test results.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
