Business Development Specialist

The QTI Group is partnering with Dairyland Electrical Industries to hire its new Business Development Specialist.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development and Marketing, this entry-level sales role will provide technical sales and training to our customers through presentations at industry conferences, webinars, and private customer meetings.
You will leverage your sales experience and competencies to build trust and develop relationships with customers while communicating technical concepts to people of all cultures and experience levels.
Location:
Stoughton, Wisconsin/flexible Responsibilities Sales and account management by providing technical sales and training both onsite and remotely through available technologies.
Learn, identify, and target influential targets, as per BDM, for specification of large projects with a focus on end-users, but also with consultants and EPC firms (Engineer, Procure, Construct).
Regular reporting and documentation of changes to organizations, upcoming projects, external stakeholders, etc.
in CRM to ensure that the data base is current.
Application Engineering Interpret technical specifications from customers and apply Dairyland solutions, as applicable.
Using CRM tools, provide technical assistance, including installation and troubleshooting activities, for customers via telephone, email and internet (webinars).
Represent Dairyland at corrosion industry committee meetings, regional meetings, and conferences as needed.
Dairyland initiatives Active participation and input in furthering a Business Development initiative.
Effectively coordinate with other departments to achieve cross-functional tasks that may be required for accomplishing the initiative.
Complete reporting and communication of progress throughout the project timeline.
Create and maintain technical documentation for internal and external use, including application documentation, case studies and installation instructions.
Create and present oral and written presentations for customers and industry conferences.
Provide digital content and assistance to Marketing as applicable.
Qualifications Minimum 5 years' experience in a comparable business development role; experience in the corrosion industry and cathodic protection preferred.
Bachelor's or Associates degree in electrical engineering or business/marketing preferred.
Strong proven technical aptitude, writing, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to multi-task, follow procedures and meet deadlines, while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Proficient working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Capable to quickly learn new technologies.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Ability to travel up to 40% to customer sites, out-of-state trade shows, conferences, and Dairyland manufacturing facilities.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
