Monday-Friday, 6am-4pm or 5am-5pmJob DescriptionDay to day:
they will be working with a semi-automatic machineLoading componence, do measurements and checksWill be doing some laser engraving to date stampPackage into box to ship out product.o Operates machines and production equipment independently in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment and may instruct or coach others.Key
Responsibilities:
o Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.o Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazardComply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations.o Use appropriate personal protective equipment.o Promote interdependence by looking out for one another.o Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.o Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact.o Engage in HSE Training.o Quality Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.o Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.o Performs quality inspectionsIdentifies and controls non-conforming material.o Delivery Fully proficient with all work processes, independently operating equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.o Instructs and coaches others and acts as an informal resource for team members with less capability.o Achieves production goals.o Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.o Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.o Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.o Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.o Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.o Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements.o Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.Qualifications and CompetenciesCompetencies:
