Responsibilities:
Accounting:
Perform the full cycle of accounting functions.
(Reconciles daily cash transactions and records cash entries/ Reconciles various balance sheet accounts).
Works through deferred revenue monthly, including compiling, recording, and reconciling.
Data entry, database clean-up & special projects for Finance.
Documentation and Assisting Scanning of documentation for various areas, potentially invoicing, payables.
Assisting our Sales team with requests from potential customers, including information regarding business/legal entity.
Assisting our Finance team with reports, including daily cash management, cash forecasting analysis.
Assisting on annual financial audit.
Manage Petty Cash.
US Sales Tax (Assist in resolving items pertaining to sales tax in conjunction with the US).
Financial Reporting, Month and Year-end closing and Audit:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
Assist in internal and external audits.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the creation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for achieving financial goals.
Cost Allocation:
Allocate overhead and indirect costs to production activities and products, ensuring accurate cost allocation methods.
ERP Systems:
Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/GP 365) software for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
1-3 years accounting experience; manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.
g.
, SAP, GP, QuickBooks).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
