This role encompasses the oversight of financial data, cost analysis, and the provision of valuable insights to bolster the company's financial decision-making process.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Execute the entire spectrum of accounting tasks, which involves reconciling daily cash transactions and recording cash entries, along with reconciling various balance sheet accounts.
Maintain monthly oversight of deferred revenue, including compilation, recording, and reconciliation.
Engage in data entry, database cleanup, and special projects within the Finance department.
Document and assist in scanning documentation for various purposes, potentially encompassing invoicing and payables.
Aid the Sales team in responding to requests from potential customers, which may include sharing business/legal entity information.
Assist the Finance team in generating reports, including daily cash management and cash forecasting analysis.
Contribute to the annual financial audit process.
Manage the Petty Cash fund.
Assist in resolving issues related to US Sales Tax in collaboration with the US team.
Prepare and evaluate financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, encompassing reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements.
Provide support during internal and external audit procedures.
Aid in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, offering insights and recommendations for achieving financial objectives.
Allocate overhead and indirect expenses to production activities and products, ensuring the accuracy of cost allocation methodologies.
Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, specifically GP 365, for tasks related to data entry, reporting, and analysis.
Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Hold 3
years of accounting experience; prior exposure to a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous.
Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP, GP, or QuickBooks.
Exhibit strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Possess knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Show the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
